We provide intensive one-to-one developmental support for children aged 3–13 with autism and other complex developmental differences. Children at Ark are supported to develop at their own pace within a safe, structured, but playful learning environment.
We work in small groups, with one educator supporting each child. This allows close attention to individual needs while also creating opportunities for shared experiences, social communication and peer interaction.
The programme combines predictable structure and familiar routines with responsive, relationship-based interaction.
Educators follow the child’s interests and emotional cues, using everyday moments and small challenges as opportunities to support communication, interaction and shared problem-solving.
We work closely with parents, therapists and other specialists to support each child’s emotional, social and developmental growth.
Every child is unique. We believe children develop best when they feel safe, understood and emotionally connected to the people and world around them.
